Our Fundraising Goals
Children at Play is now a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization! Thanks to Diane for all of her hard work filing! Our next step is to look for community members and business owners who would like to support a Children's Museum in the Outer Banks by making tax deductible donations! We will also begin our long journey into grant writing.

Terracycle fundraising
Children at Play is working with Terracycle, a great way to recycle trash and give back to our Museum. If you eat Kashi products of any kind, please save the box, wrapper etc. and get in touch with Alyssa for details of where to drop them off. We receive $.02 for every container we collect. It is a slow process but with some community effort, we can make some money for our museum! Thanks!!!

The dog wash was a minor success. We washed about 5 dogs and one truck, go figure.

The Outer Banks Mommy and Me Inc. has donated $100.00 to Children at Play Inc. for start - up costs!
February 2009
Children at Play had it's first official play session! It was so much fun with an excellent turnout. We recieved $13.00 in donations and hosted a lot of very happy healthy children.

2009 Family Field Day Fun!
Remember field day? Children at Play wants to bring it back! Come join us for some outdoor family fun at the Kill Devil Hills Parks and Recreation Center on Wednesday, July 15th from 9:30 - 4:00! We will have fun games and activities for ages 2 and older and some concession stands too!
We were not necessarily successful with this but it was interesting!
